Bathrooms and Hammers
The tile needs some repairs. Those old tiles need to be salvaged before I can re-installed them.
Yanked out the old medicine cabinet - I'm going to repair the wall and check into re-texturing the entire bathroom. We'll see.
Starting to remove the old "popcorn" and trying a little "mopping" with some of the plastering from my living room project.
More work - after the wedding!!!
Thanks to the folk at Lowe's I got these wonderful pre-formed counter-tops. Nice huh?
Of course, they need a little bit of trimming and then I need to add the end-caps.
The corner pieces also need to be bolted together to complete the tops.
Here is the finished work - At least one part of it. Like it?

Another Helper and the Tile!!!
Look at this helper - Mom is great!!! Getting the floor prepared for the tile work.
Now for the Tile Work!!!
First you need to line up some tiles and make your Baseline - I used a chalk line to help with the initial setup. Nice Red and Bright!!
Now I dry-set a couple of tiles to see how everything would look before getting the mortar ready.
After 4 hours we got a good start. What do you think so far?
